The spring time will bring good things.....

Well Geoff and I had our appointment last Friday with the RE (Reproductive Endocrinologist) and we found out some GREAT things, so first of all Geoff's semen analysis came back almost perfect.. he was very proud! :) Second we found out that the clinic now offers a special Mini IVF Cycle for people like us who do not have major issues going  but still can't get pregnant, and the best part it is more affordable! The Mini IVF Cycle is stimulated with Clomid only so I will not be pumping myself full of a bunch of hormones, also it will only stimulate a few eggs instead of as many in a regular cycle (8 to 15) which is where a lot of the cost lies. With this procedure they do the ICSI method where they actually insert the Sperm into the Egg instead of just putting them into a dish together and seeing what happens. The doctor feels like we have a 50 to 60% chance of this working for us and I am going in to it believing that it WILL happen! I feel like this spring is my time whether it happens naturally before or in May with the IVF either way I am staying positive and believing that we will get our baby.

On another note I know there are some people who do not get it and they feel like we just aren't trying hard enough, while everyone has their right to an opinion sometime opinions are better left to themselves because they can be hurtful. At this time we need the love and support of friends family not to be questioned about our decisions and we appreciate all the support and love we have received!

It is a New Year

So I kind of dropped off the blog planet for a little while, we had a busy year and just kind of took it easy. After our appointment with the specialist last year we decided to just take it easy and save up. In the process we moved into our new place, paid off some old debt, worked crazy hours in our busy seasons, took a surprise trip to North Carolina for Christmas and now we are back in the baby making mode. So we are back to the decision making stage. We are trying to stay positive and stay away from things that cause us stress and bring drama in our life's, because we definitely don't need any negative vibes right now. Whatever our decision is if financially we can afford it we are going to do it in the spring, so for now that is my plan.

I believe with all my heart we will have a baby it is just waiting for the right time.

We have decided to use this method as a way to keep people updated on what is going on so that we do not have to go over everything over and over again. I will update ya'll again soon.
